The Ann Perrins Award for Service Development
The Ann Perrins Award for Service Development was launched in January 2024, in memory of Ann Perrins, one of our Trustees, who contributed so much to children and families over many years.
This initiative was open to projects currently supported by the Peter Lang Children’s Trust, with the objective to train relevant staff to gain a recognised accreditation that would be used to set up and deliver a new programme, in line with the Trust’s principal aims.
We are delighted to announce that the grant has been awarded to two projects; The Churn Project and GL11 Community Hub.
The Churn Project will be using the award to train an additional member of staff in the PEEP Antenatal Programme; while GL11 Community Hub will be using the award to train three family workers in the Mellow Bumps Programme.
Both projects are committed to sharing their learning and evaluation with all of the other projects who are supported by the Trust.
